Buy Salvation Amry!

I know many of us don't think of Salvation Army as 'stylish' but last week a friend and I found some really great deals on pieces that fit right in with this season's trends. My friend was able to find an authentic Geoffrey Beene scarf and just for $1!! I was able to find a vintage army jacket I wear everywear now. Most of the pieces there are in great condition, everyone just looks away because its SA. So, I encourage everyone to go look at the SA near you for pieces you could get for super cheap. On Wednesdays its half priced items just f.y.i. The link I provided shows all the local Salvation Army's in the Greater Philadelphia area.
And definitely don't forget to donate all your old clothes to make space for all your new holiday gifts!! Someone else could really use them.

Womens Accesories!!!

We recived these great bags in shipment the other day. We didn't even have the chance to display them in the store because the customers bought them straight out of the box, but in the midst of the shopping frenzy I grabed one of each color one for me and one as a gift. They are on trend, they have the shape of a bowling bag like we talked about in class during this quarter and they are also smaller in size a new trend that we talked about as well.

70's Fashion

Over the past few weeks, we have been covering current trends, which have been modernized from fashion of the 70's era. The 70's have inspired fashion as well as retail spaces and home furnishings. -Hannah Elliott

PHILADELPHIA STREET STYLE

While walking down 16th I came across a very well dressed back so I mustered up the courage to tap him on the shoulder and not to my surprise his front was also well dressed! He was very nice and allowed me to take a few pics of him. His jacket (though I neglected to ask where he purchased it) is reminiscent of a jacket done by Kenzo that we saw earlier in the quarter. He's rocking the belted trench, a trend we didn't think American men would go for, but I'm glad that he took the chance. The jacket is also double breasted and thigh length. He's also sporting some nice shoes which are distressed and they have gradiation, not to mention his pant legs are semi tucked. Over all a great look translated from the runway to the street!
