hey! I found this article in the New York Times about the new "it bag" from ThursdayFriday. The tote features a large printed picture of the infamous Berkin bag on the front, back and sides of the tote. The bag is 100% cotton canvas and sells at a retail price of $35.00. i thought it was an interesting way in which the company is playing against the Berkin bag, as stated in the article the purpose of the tote is "ultimately an anti-status symbol."

That 70's Fashion

As we saw in class this week, the look of the 70's starlet/boho hippie is making a big comeback in the world of fashion. I came across this great website that focuses on college-aged (or minded) people and the things they wear. Their latest post happened to be about this great 70s reoccurrence. The post was pretty good, but the rest of the website has alot to offer too.

Wing Tip Shoes

I like how the wing tip shoe is back! It adds to sophistication, makes legs look longer and leaner and has a classic touch of style to it. I had no idea how many stores had brought this look back until we discussed it in class last week. The competition is really out there!

Here is an interesting post I found displaying Fall/Winter 2010 shoes from our boys at dsquared2.
Bold, yes. Daring? definately. wearable?? not so sure, but all-in-all, amazing designs.
They seem to be taking the crazy heel trend to a whole new level.
