Desigual
As we saw today in class, While still on trend, the Spanish have a pretty unique color palate and design aesthetic. The company Disigual happens to be one of my favorites for years. I came across this great article about their new "deconstructed denium" line and thought you may enjoy a deeper look at Desigual.

Spring Trend!
Carbone Casual Kids
This week we covered Dutch and Belgium design. I've really come to enjoy reviewing children's wear fashion. One of my favorites that we talked about in class was Carbone Casual Childrens wear. The brand really does an excellent job of presenting carefully crafted clothing. I enjoy how the brand has followed the full and flowy skirt trend with a bohemian feel to it. The pattern combinations are also interesting to mix and match.

Roberto Capucci: Art into Fashion
Italian fashion designer and artist Roberto Capucci's exhibition will be held on March 16, 2011 - June 5, 2011 at Philadelphia Museum of Art.
This exhibition--featuring over eighty works, as well as original drawings and sketches--will be the first survey of his work in the United States.
I hope that this exhibition will be a nice chance to you.
