Spring is upon us as well as some mighty fine weather. But we can’t deny that there are cold rainy mornings and nights. So a jacket that I see a lot and always in and trendy are parkas. Don’t believe me? Well take a look at Patootie. A cat model for United Bamboo’s yearly cat calendar.

 Patootie is wearing an olive colored fishtail parka from United Bamboo. If you love this parka on Patootie think of how it would look on you! You can see a normal version of the fishtail parka worn by the model below. This is available to buy on United Bamboo's website for a whopping $825. It's a pretty steep price. But you'll look "almost" as good as Patootie.

We saw them making their way down the runway in September, and now they've taken to the streets. Love them or hate them, Birkenstocks have become this season's most talked about new trend.


Giambattista Valli, Celine, Givenchy, Prada, Marni, to name a few, are among the designers who have hopped on this new shoe train, offering their own versions of the sandals in their Spring 2014 collections.

This new trend seems to be hitting it big with the high fashion crowd, however, in my circle of friends, the response is an immediate "NO!". While I don't think you'll see me wearing these shoes anytime soon, I can't help but think how comfortable they look in comparison to my painful high heels.
