This site is dedicated to the observation and reporting of cutting edge design in the areas of MEN'S & WOMEN'S FASHION, ACCESSORIES, SHOES, RETAIL SPACE DESIGN, HOME ACCESSORIES AND FURNITURE AND CHILDREN'S WEAR. Members of the group will address the emergence of trends that originate in specific countries around the world and then spread internationally. Some of the countries included in this blog are the USA, FRANCE, ITALY, BELGIUM, HOLLAND, SPAIN and JAPAN.
So I'm in work and a coworker hands me some pocket squares to merchandise with. I start the usual folding and colorizing and then I notice that they are all plaid pocket squares. Then I remebered Gene saying how this was the new trend in men's pocket squares, and I thought to myself, who would have thought the day after learning this in class the store i work for suddenly jumps on the band wangon. Another trend I noticed to be true was the wing tip shoe. There everywhere at every price range, and at my job the shoe collection mostly consists of them. While I was talking with a customer he asked me if I liked his shoes, i look down and there they are again wing tips. He had on these really funky vintage looking one's, they looked all beat up but they where new and shiny too. They where black with perfectly placed fades of grey and in some cases white, and the even cooler part was they where slide ons (no laces). So the answer to his question was "OMG! they're wing tips I heard that there the latest trend and i love the distressed look....I think there awsome.
