ReplyDeleteAgatha Ruiz La Prada: The "Spanish" Betsey Johnson.
ReplyDeleteThe collection was simply brilliant. The Color palette that this designer played with for her fall/winter was kind of risky, but it created a fun and playful spark to the runway . I love the props that they used to go along the runway
.Such as, the Traffic cones down the center of the runway. :) As for the collection as a whole, I love that wild and crazy trend isn’t as popular as it was a few years ago.Although , Its Refreshing to see it on the runway. The collection was "runway ready" to draw in the audience but I don’t think this would sell in a retail environment.

Agatha Ruiz De La Prada: A true work of art. After viewing Her fall/winter 2010 collection filled with tons of bright colors and outrageous silhouettes. This sparked my interest in her 'rule breaker' mentality combing these fluorescent colors together to present her views on Fall/winter 2010, was extremely brilliant. She even took her artistic views to the runway by presenting her garments on a runway filed with traffic cones, this made her collection more inviting to the public and letting women know just because the weathers drab, doesn't mean your wardrobe has to be. Her collections sparks a true artistic value and with ever piece I see a new edgy sculpture with tons of words behind it!
