
Last class we mentioned the trend tromp l'oeil which is French for 'to deceive the eye'. Here we see the trend interpreted via clothing rather than shoes.

This piece by Prada reminds me of the tromp l'oeil trends because the dress has big orange sequence that resemble fish scale, and the model is wearing the tromp l'oeil boots that we talked about in class that look like socks and mary janes.
