With the war in the Middle East the clothes of today are again being inspired by the military look. Just like the rest of the remakes the 1940's military look is revamped. Every designer from Balmain to Marc Jacobs and Louis Vuitton is focousing on the war of fashion.

I love the huge pockets on the new Louis Vuitton cargos shorts
ReplyDeleteI really liked the first outfit the most with the ripped shirt because it really gives off that hard working military inspiration. And the lace up boots are also a nice touch to the military scene in fashion. and the colors work well together. I do like the jacket, however it reminds me of a marching band uniform.

Here is a link to Gap's website, check out their take on the military jacket. I've noticed a variation of military jackets between different designers, they offer many different styles and cuts but they all stem from the same idea.
