Carhartt Work in progress opened its first store in America last month on Crosby street in SoHo . Known for their work clothes Carhartt now based in Basel, Switzerland, uses more refined fabrics for their work in progress clothes. Work pants made in their sturdy canvas can now be bought in Italian duck canvas specially milled for WIP. The once rough and tough sweaters now come in brushed cotton. In the picture to the right: coat 268$,shirt 168$,and the pants 125$, a far cry from the pair you used to buy at K-mart for 35$.
