In 2002 Phillip Start and his wife Brix Smith Start opened a store in Shoreditch, London that sold both men's and women's apparel and accessories. Then in 2008 they created a clothing label called Mr. Start, which mainly focuses on tailored men's formalwear (both ready-to-wear and made-to-measure). For there Spring/Summer collection they have men's suits in all neutral tones that share a similar silhouette; a dropped crotch, a slim leg, and a more fitted jacket.
