Briefly seen in class, we saw the Pressedleathershoe by Marloes ten Bhömer.
Ten Bhömer says, "By reinventing the process by which footwear is made, the resulting shoes serve as unique examples of new aesthetic and structural possibilities..."
I believe this new & innovative look will be quite popular in the next few years. The quirkiness of its shape and concepts of construction are quite intriguing.

This is a really cool approach to shoe designing because it kind of looks like the shoe was taken from a mold by the look of the extra thick soles.
