This site is dedicated to the observation and reporting of cutting edge design in the areas of MEN'S & WOMEN'S FASHION, ACCESSORIES, SHOES, RETAIL SPACE DESIGN, HOME ACCESSORIES AND FURNITURE AND CHILDREN'S WEAR. Members of the group will address the emergence of trends that originate in specific countries around the world and then spread internationally. Some of the countries included in this blog are the USA, FRANCE, ITALY, BELGIUM, HOLLAND, SPAIN and JAPAN.
Even as a female I love ties, they are adorable and I think the ones that are trendy now are a huge compliment to the preppy look.
ReplyDeleteAnd again, as a female, I love big watches (thanks to my father). He started giving me a lot of his old watches and just adjusting the band for me and I've always gotten compliments on them from both men and women.
I've never really been a hat person, but I'm going to Cancun and right after seeing this link in class and needing a hat for that strong sun I went got myself two! I love them. I can wear it straight on to look like an original mobster like Capone, or I can push it back for a more laid back look.
Pocket squares are...Lame. I mean don't get me wrong, they look great as part of a men's suit but I would never pay as much as they are going for on the site. Just go to Jomar's and let them know you need swatches and they'll hand you the scissors and make your own for FREE! And I mean really, who actually USES those things? But then again, I could see a forehead needing to be wiped in all this heat if you had on a (three piece) suit...
While at work this past weekend I got a chance to take pictures of a bunch of the items we are carrying for the spring season that were also trends mentioned in class and in this slide show. I'm relieved that our store buyer possibly is on target with men's trends when shes ordering!
