Michael Kors also used the popular style of the raised toe, that we saw in Italy too. I covered a lot of ballerina shoes in my research of woman's shoes in France. They are really popular all over the world. I wonder who came out with them first;as a fashion shoe that is?

that TOP AMERICAN DESIGNER, MICHAEL KORRS, does it again. a watered down, mass appeal design, that he masquerades as his own creation. well, good for him. he's making a fortune and being on project runway definitely helps.

incidently.........this trend started in the 1950's and was worn by teens and young twentysomethings (remember the lecture this week - 1950's teens - new target market). it was introduced as a sports wear accessory to be worn with CAPRI PANTS and SKIRTS w/ CRINOLINES. gene d.
